Paying twice the brokerage fees

A non – cautious customer may be obligated to pay brokerage fees to more than one agent.
The most prominent example is signing a potential apartment purchaser on a brokerage services request form for two separate realtors.

A more complicated case will be when an apartment seller signs a brokerage services request form, ties a transaction with a purchaser but is unaware that it is an agent who has referred the potential buyer to him, whether because of pure amnesia or because the same seller has signed a large number of brokerage services request forms to several different agents.

Sometimes a person sees an apartment through an agent. After an extended period, he considers the apartment published in the newspaper and forgets that he saw A and Tea also through an agent.
