- The Sales Contract
It is customary to distinguish between independent and contingent charges in contractual charges and between parallel and interconnected charges.
An independent charge is a one-way charge, regardless of the counter – charge.
That party must fulfill its obligations on the agreed date even if the other party to the contract does not fulfill the obligations imposed on him.
Contingent charges mean that the party’s obligation to meet its commitments is conditional on the other party first acting and fulfilling its obligations under the contract. Integral charges, or parallel charges, mean that the parties must meet their charges simultaneously.
Sales contracts are characterized by contingent charges, whether by the provisions of the existing sales contracts or by the default stipulated in section 23 of the Sales Law.
