Section 19 of the Code of Ethics of the Bar Association states that: “A lawyer shall keep secret anything that is brought to his knowledge by a client or on his behalf while fulfilling his duties unless the client has expressly agreed otherwise.”
In addition to the lawyer, even his office employees are obligated to maintain confidentiality.
According to Article 20 of the Code of Ethics of the Bar Association: “A lawyer shall clarify to the employees in his service about their duty to maintain the confidentiality of matters which come to their attention during their work.”
