Section 25 (7c) of the Rent Law stipulates that the landlord must give the tenant maintenance instructions and instructions for use in connection with the apartment, its facilities, its movables, and so on.
These provisions are intended to coordinate expectations between the parties regarding the manner of handling the apartment and to ensure proper use by the tenant.
This matter is very important.
Today there are terribly sophisticated and expensive systems in apartments and even systems related to buildings and common areas.
Cooling and heating systems, climate control, smart electricity, control and monitoring, security and alarm, and more and more.
I recommended that all of these be handed over to the tenant at the time of signing the lease and not afterward. And this is for obvious reasons, that the tenant will know about it at the time of signing and will not claim any mistake or deception on the part of the landlord.
