Continuation of Lease after Expiration of Contract

Where the parties have continued to hold the lease, even after the end of the lease term either party may terminate the lease by giving notice to the other party a reasonable time in advance.
In this matter, the rule is that where the tenant continues to hold the apartment after the period specified in the lease agreement and it has not been proven that the parties changed the terms of the agreement, right of possession, the terms of the lease agreement signed between the parties continue to apply.

It was even held that the fact that the parties continued to keep the lease in conduct, even without formally extending the contract or signing a new contract, does indeed indicate consent to continue the legal relationship between them as before, under the same conditions.
